The APESB chairperson, Ms Kate Spargo, is the spokesperson for all media enquiries. 

The chairperson may be able to comment on topics including:

• The impact of professional standards on specialist accounting areas
• Professionalism – what does it mean, what is the value and what does it cost?
• The ethics of fees and pricing

The chairperson cannot comment on:

• Individual conduct matters involving accounting practitioners or firms
• The disciplinary actions undertaken by any of the accounting professional bodies
• Matters currently before a Court in any Australian jurisdiction
